RhymGuiro

The Native Tongue Percussion RhymGuiro adds a bright, cutting metallic rasp voice to conventional drum kits, hand drums, timbales, Drumbe™ setups, and other rim-hoop drums. It incorporates the patented RhymClip mounting system for secure, convenient positioning directly on the drum rim or hoop without requiring a separate stand.

Played with conventional drumsticks or the Native Tongue Percussion HandStx, the RhymGuiro produces crisp scrapes, distinct struck tones, and metallic sound effects with strong projection. It can also serve as a distinctive metallic alternative for hi-hat-style timekeeping patterns and accents.

Its dual-profile stainless steel playing surface provides two distinct rasp zones. The wider, deeper ripples produce a coarser, more pronounced scrape, while the finer ripples create a tighter, faster rasp texture. Players can move between the two zones to vary the tone, speed, and character of their patterns.
