Product Usage
Do I need a set of RhymClips for each RhymBlock/RhymBell?Yes.
It is best to attach the RhymClips to your RhymBlock or RhymBell and leave them attached and not attempt to switch them between products. This way you can use multiple blocks/bells to create unique rhythms.
How can I choose the best wood for the block to purchase?
Each wood type has a different sound but generally the Maple is a good overall tone for general usage. You can also check out the RhymBlock Wood Types page for more information.
Can the Hi-Hat Stryker be setup to be pushed out of the way when using brushes or sticks?
Yes, it can be setup to rotate around to the side easily. During assembly, a gap can be left when tighting the clutch around the Hi-Hat Stryker brack as shown in the image. This will allow the Hi-Hat Stryker to swivel around to the sides.
Support Questions
How do I attach the RhymClips to the RhymBlock/RhymBell
There is only one screw per RhymClip, so the attachment is very easy. It may be easier to start rotate the RhymClip with the screw in it, to start the screw by hand. Then use a standard #2 Phillips screwdriver to attach. This may require a firm touch when screwing due to the nylon coating on the screw to prevent loosening while playing.
Can I adjust the height of the RhymBlock for my style of play?
Our patented RhymClips have an adjustment for height on them. You can check out the videos on mounting in Instructions and Education to see how that adjustment is made.
