The Native Tongue Percussion RhymCrasher delivers a bold, cutting metallic voice with a louder, looser character than the RhymChik. Powered by the patented RhymStryker rim-mounted striking system, it can be played on its own as a dominant closed hi-hat-style sound or paired with the RhymChik to create contrasting rhythmic voices, patterns, and accents.
A stainless steel striking bar activates a layered arrangement of textured and flat metal plates, producing a strong initial attack followed by a loose metallic sizzle and short crashing overtones. The result is a more aggressive and prominent sound that adds depth, energy, and character to a hand-percussion setup.
The padded RhymStryker playing surface can be activated comfortably with the hand or palm, allowing strong metallic patterns and accents while maintaining two-handed drum playing. The system mounts to a variety of mechanical and rope-tuned rims and can be positioned and height-adjusted to suit the player.
