Pepe Espinosa

Born in Havana, Cuba in 1974, Pepe Espinosa began his musical studies at the age of 8 and became a professional musician by age of 15.  He participated in forming various musical groups in Cuba such as Grupo Bamboleo, Grupo Azucar Negra, Grupo Klimax, Dany Lozada y Su Timbacubana, Juan De Marcos and the Afro Cuban All-Stars among others.  Pepe performs numerous tours throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America and the United States.

 Pepe’s work as a multi-percussionist has allowed him to be part of different musical projects, accompanying numerous Latin artists such as Cano Estremera, Ismael Miranda, Luisito Carrion, Paquito Guzman and Tito Nieves, among others.  He has also traveled internationally with Jazz artists including Arturo Sandoval, Nils Fisher & Timbazo, Jesus Alemany & Cubanismo, and more.

 Pepe Espinosa currently resides in the City of Miami, working as a music producer and percussion instructor.
